Pauma Valley Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Pauma Valley, California.

The Pauma Valley Country Club Golf Course first opened in 1960. The course was designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,077 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,891 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 11, a par-5 that plays to 559 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 187 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 6, a 425 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Pauma Valley Country Club is # 12, a 210 yard par-3.

I played in a tournament and fell in love with the course again. The houses lining the course add to the ambiance. Great greens, fairways, staff and members. Too bad it's so hard to get on. Private.

Bottom line: I would play again, Ranks with the best in this price level, Best course in the area, Fair priced based on quality and competitive area pricing

Fantastic golf course. Always excellent condition. Demanding, but not punishing. Only negative is that with such a small membership the clubhouse is often closed.

Just to update the course description. Par for the course is 71. From the Black Tees its 7,077 yds. Blue-6,811, White-6404, Gold-6,106. Forward Red Tees 5,875. As a member my views are skewed. It's one of the 3 best courses in San Diego County
